TALES OF DIDNEY 1

I SHALL BE DOING THE STORIES OF MY MOST... ER... MEMORABLE MOMENTS AT DIDNEY WORL.



HERE IS NUMBER 1.

So, my family really wanted to go on the new roller coaster at Fantasy Land in Didney. The Seven Dwarf's Mine Coaster. But, every time we looked at it as we passed, it had an 80+ Minuet wait. FROM THE ENTRANCE. NOT THE END OF THE LINE. 



OH NO, THE ACTUAL END OF THE LINE IS THE TINY BLUE X I PUT ON THAT MAP. THE GREEN LINE IS HOW THE LINE WAS SET UP.

Anyway, we decided that we were GOING to get on that ride. So. The next morning. WE FREAKING RAN, ALL THE WAY UP MAINSTREET USA, THROUGH THE CASTLE, AND TO THE LINE.

We thought we had done it.

But.

THE WAIT WAS ALREADY 40 MINUETS.



We reluctantly went to the end of the line, the blue x, and waited. Luckily, the line went pretty fast.

And, my dear children, if you think this story is nearing it's end, I am just getting started. So sit your little posteriors down, you're in for a wild ride.

So, we're waiting. And waiting. And waiting. And when we've passed the red x and are in the actual line, some strange things start happening.

There's this family behind us, see. A family of 5 if I remember correctly. A mom, a dad, and three boys. One about my age, one that's maybe 10ish, then a small fry maybe 6 or younger.

So we're in front of them and minding our own business. This family's kids have been coming uncomfortably close to me, so I keep looking behind to make sure they're not doing it again. (I'm also bored as heck so...)

And. I see.

This kid.

The middle aged one.

Putting his mouth on a fencepost.

And sucking it.

SUCKING IT LIKE IT'S THE TASTIEST NOODLE IN THE WORLD.





AND I'M JUST GOING:

AND I SEE THE KID LICK IT LIKE IT IS THE MOST AMAZING LOLIPOP EVER.
Cue:

Then the line FINALLY decides to move forward, and the kid just pulls off and grins.

Meanwhile I am desperately trying not to touch anything after seeing that, and the kid starts coughing behind us.




So that's tha-

YOU THOUGH IT WAS THE END? LOL, NOPE.


So we get farther in the ride, and there's this cool interactive game for kids while you wait. We get a bit distracted and then my mom sees that family's mom hurry in front of us.


And we're all like:

So then the woman GETS HER LITTLEST ONE TO COME UNDERNEATH THE ROPE, AND JOIN HER.
"Hold up, we got a bada** over here."

So then, the woman and her little one start playing the game.

Betcha can guess what we did.

We hurried in front of her.


And she started giving us nasty looks. (Although I might have been giving her looks like: )

So, that's the story of how we-

"BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE."

Yep, it's not over yet.



So we wait a bit more, and get around a corner, and somehow this family is WAY back behind us. The line was sorta like this at this point



So we're about to enter the inside waiting area, and we hear this:

"Alright kids, want to play a game?"

We look back.

And see the mom cut under the rope.



Then the dad holds up the rope and says:

"Alright, ready? 1. 2. 3. Shortcut!"

And all of them, the three kids, the dad, and the mom. Are right behind us.





This is a small summary of the looks this family was getting from EVERYONE else in line.

But, we did eventually get into our car. (With other minor things from this family happening...) and said GOODBYE TO THAT FAMILY.



I shall be doing a second edition seeing as this one was very long just because of this one story.
